{PoT} Clan Server Rules
RULE #1 - NO CHEATING
1) NO HACKING - Hacking on {PoT} servers is strictly prohibited.
Any player caught hacking by a screenshot or server CVAR check will be subject to immediate banning from all {PoT} servers.
2) NO GHOSTING - Ghosting is not allowed.
{PoT} does not ghost, and players on our servers are welcome to join us on TeamSpeak to hear for themselves. Ask clan members for our TS server information and password.
3) NO EXPLOITS - The use of serious game exploits is not allowed.
RULE #2 - RESPECT EVERYONE
1) NO NAME CALLING - Calling other players derogatory names is not allowed.
Name-calling in jest will be tolerated only if clearly marked by text or emoticons indicating the joking nature of the statement in question.
EVEN SO, players must keep in mind that sometimes people do not appreciate such antics, and you MUST STOP if asked to do so, by the 'target', by a {PoT} clan member, or by any other player on the server. Please do not argue with other players on the server that you were 'only joking'. Just stop, apologize if you feel it necessary, and move on.
2) NO INTENTIONAL TKING, FLASHING, OR OTHERWISE HARASSING OTHER PLAYERS - Harassing other players will not be tolerated.
This is to include intentionally TKing or flashing other players, intentionally blocking their path, playing 'door games' with them, shooting in their direction, or doing something that they have asked you not to do with the intent of annoying them (for example, spamming the radio, or following them closely).
3) NO TAUNTING - Malicious taunting of other players will not be tolerated.
As with name-calling, taunting in jest will be allowed only if clearly marked by text or emoticons indicating the joking nature of the statement in question. Players are to stop immediately if asked to do so, by anyone on the server. (NOTE: Self-aggrandizing statements, such as "I OWN", or "TEAM WHOEVER" are NOT considered taunting. Taunting is directed at an individual.)
4) NO CHAT SPAMMING - Players will refrain from spamming the chat console.
5) NO HACKUSATIONS - Players will refrain from making hackusations on the server.
We have extensive server CVAR checks in place (above and beyond the normal ACI list), and many pairs of eyes examining screenshots. The chances of someone hacking on our server are very low, and we will not tolerate baseless accusations of hacking, especially against players that have frequented our server for a long time.
Hackusations in jest will be tolerated only under the same rules as name-calling and taunting. A hackusation made in jest must be accompanied by text or emoticons indicating the joking nature of the statement in question. As with name-calling and taunting, players are expected to stop if asked to do so.
6) NO DISRESPECTING CLAN MEMBERS - Players are expected to follow clan members' requests to comply with the server rules.
Showing disrespect to a clan member or ignoring their instructions is grounds for immediate removal from the server.
7) NO VOTEKICKS - Votekicks are not allowed when clan members are on the server, unless OK'd by said clan members.
If someone is idle, or harassing you, ASK a clan member to remove them. Do not start a votekick unless there are no clan members available to assist you.
8) Low honor players may be removed from the server to make room for clan members. If you are asked to leave, or kicked from the server for this reason, you are welcome to rejoin the server when a slot becomes available.
7) NO RECRUITING - This one should NOT have to be spelled out. Unfortunately, some people like to create clans without a server to act as a 'home base'. Then they go around recruiting members on other clan's servers.
We pay a lot of money and put a lot of work into keeping our servers running. It is HIGHLY disrespectful to recruit members for your clan on servers that we put so much effort into. It's a form of stealing, and it will not be tolerated.
RULE # 3 - HAVE FUN
1) Players are expected to keep a good attitude on the server.
-Excessive whining or excuse making is not allowed.
-Demanding (not asking for) weapon slots from other players on the server is not allowed.
-General assholery is not allowed.
-Threatening to TK other players for not doing what you want (closing doors, covering main, not hiding in spawn, etc.) is not allowed.
-Swearing IS allowed on our servers, with some provisions:
-Coarse language is not to be directed at other players, except in jest, according to the same guidelines as taunting and name-calling. If ANYONE asks for the coarse language to stop, it is to STOP IMMEDIATELY.
-Sexually explicit language is strongly discouraged. If ANYONE asks that such talk stop, it is to STOP IMMEDIATELY.
REPEATED RULES VIOLATIONS MAY RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM ALL {PoT} SERVERS.
{PoT} Clan members are expected to follow the rules detailed here, NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you witness a clan member disregarding these rules, or feel that you have been treated unfairly by an admin or clan member, you may file a grievance by sending a personal message (PM) to hevymetal or 0xc0ffee on this forum, or by PM on www.aaotracker.com
If your grievance is determined to have merit, the matter will be dealt with by {PoT}'s Conduct Review Board in accordance with the {PoT} Clan Code of Conduct (an expanded version of these rules applicable only to {PoT} clan members). You will be notified of the matter's resolution.

Reason for Editing: Added 'NO RECRUITING' rule for the server-less 'clans' who don't have enough respect to NOT RECRUIT on OUR SERVERS.
